Dear Prospective Staff Person,
CAMA Kid's Camp 2018, affiliated with the Christian Missionary Alliance Denomination has a long tradition of providing a quality Christian camping experience. The quality of the camp experience for the campers is directly tied to the quality of our camp staff. Over the past decades, we have seen many staff return to serve who were once campers. They understand what it feels like to be a camper away from home. Following is a list of general characteristic requirements that make a great staff candidate.
1. Staff Age – fourteen to adult
2. Faith – Their life shows evidence of their Faith in Christ, and they are in agreement with the Doctrine of the Christian and Missionary Alliance
3. Experience working in Children’s ministry (preferred); Serving with CEF (Child Evangelical Fellowship), AWANA, Sunday School or VBS program with children camp ages and other Christian organizations.
4. Personal references from other ministry leaders who have seen staff work with children successfully
5. Energy to work with children 24/7
6. Time off from work or other responsibilities during camp week
7. Willingness to sacrifice personal goals and agendas to work as a part of the camp team
8. Able to follow a schedule and leadership
Because of the age of the campers, we choose staff carefully. Positions are limited and will be updated on the website. Priority may be given to applicants with prior camp experience, families attending, and those who submit all their paperwork by the deadline.

Our Mission Statement
"We seek to be a camp who knows Jesus; exalts Him as Savior, Sanctifier, Healer, and Coming King while connecting to His Great Commission."
Statement of Faith
Here is what we believe in regard to God,
There is one God, who is infinitely perfect, existing eternally in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
Jesus Christ is true God and true man. He was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary.
He died on the cross for our sins and rose from the dead.
The Holy Spirit is a Divine Person, sent to indwell, guide, teach, and empower the believer and convince the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment.
The Bible is inspired by God and is therefore inerrant, as originally given. The books are a complete revelation of God's will for the salvation of man, and they constitute the divine and only rule of Christian faith and practice.
Man was originally created in the image and likeness of God: He fell through disobedience, resulting in physical and spiritual death. All men are born with a sinful nature, are separated from life with God, and can be saved only through the atoning work of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Salvation has been provided through Jesus Christ for all men. All who repent and believe in Him receive the gift of eternal life, and become children of God.
Every believer can and should be filled with the Holy Spirit. It is the will of God that each believer should be sanctified wholly, being separated from sin and the world and fully dedicated to the will of God, thereby receiving power for holy living and effective service.
Provision is made in the redemptive work of the Lord Jesus Christ for the healing of our bodies. Prayer for the sick and anointing with oil are taught in the Scriptures and are privileges for the Church.
