Food, health and safety are concerns the CAMA Camp Staff take very seriously. In addition to collecting important medical information and medications from each camper at registration, the staff work diligently to provide healthy, delicious meals as well as trained medical professionals to provide medical care. Both a licensed nurse and EMT are on staff.
The lake at the Millersylvania ELC in recent years has become overgrown and littered with duck droppings. For these reasons, swimming has not been available at CAMA Camp, so alternatives like a Slip-n-Slide have proven popular and successful. Campers are instructed on how to safely navigate the Slip-n-Slide. Canoeing is still available and a widely sought after activity when certified lifeguards are on staff.
